The Trilogy Labs team recently attended two incredible tradeshows, the Miami Cosmetic Surgery show in Miami, Florida and the White Label Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Miami Cosmetic Surgery show had thousands in attendance, including medical professionals hailing from the most prominent epicenters of cosmetic surgery and aesthetic dermatology worldwide. This event featured dynamic lectures delivered by experts at the forefront of the industry, including the fields of facial plastic surgery, dermatology, oculoplastic surgery and more.
The Miami Cosmetic Tradeshow focused on what is happening in the world of cosmetic surgery and aesthetic dermatology, while The White Label World Expo focused on professional online sellers. This event is the world’s largest of its kind and puts thousands of online sellers, suppliers and buyers from across the globe under one roof.
Both of the exhibitions attracted thousands of attendees and leading players in the market. We learned about some of the newest trends in cosmetic medicine and the latest innovations and are excited to share them with you! Here are some of the key takeaways:
New Devices
There are two new devices on that market that really caught our eye. The thermo-lift technology lifts and tightens by improving the health of existing collagen, while also working from within to support long-term neocollagenesis and skin health.
Trending Ingredients
CBD was a huge trend at the White Label World Expo! Beauty and wellness products containing cannabidiol (or CBD, the non-hallucinogenic product derived from the cannabis family) are becoming increasingly popular. These ingredients are touted to have tremendous anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and they are available for both oral and topical use. Two of the newest CBD technologies widely promoted at the event were Liposomal CBD and Nano CBD. These two types of CBD are reported to have better bioavailability compared to traditional CBD, making them better absorbed both by mouth and on the skin. Trilogy Laboratories is currently working on formulas for skin care products that contain hemp-derived CBD ingredients!
